The 1937 Ford Hard Top Convertible, owned by Eddie and Alisa Potestio. Body and frame are by Wildrods, with billet wheels and a wonderful butterscoth pearl over pale yellow pearl paint. Accent striping is blue, fading into green. But the best part is the interior, completely redone by Eddie. Fabric colors match the paint perfectly, with Eddie's trademark aluminim backpaneling, rather than cardboard. Engine is an LS1, with an Alpine marine stereo and one-of-a-kind LED lighting from Check Corporation in the handbuilt center console. Controls for the lighting and power windows are hidden in the console. Speakers are Hybrid Audio Technologies, 4.5 inch up front, with a single 6-inch woofer behind the seats. |
The 1937 Ford Hard Top Convertible, owned by Red and Armando Vigil. What makes this car special is the interior. Lots of fabrication and molding went into it, and it's done with limited upholstery. 85% of it is smooth, meaning it's painted. There is no carpet. The cream colored leather is of very high quality, done by Eddie Potestio. The exterior colors are marble beige metallic on bottom, and Samoa Pearl on top. Both colors have extra pearl laid over to really pop. The Samoa Pearl looks brown inside, and turns purple in the sun. With concept drwaings by Eric Brockmeyer, the engine is an LS1, transmission a 4l60e. The frame, driveshaft, and rear axle are powder coated to match the exterior. The car has equipment form these manufacturers: Lokar (shifter, steering linkage), Billet Specialties (steering wheel, vents), Foose Wheels (20's in back, 17's in front), Dakota Digital (gauges), Dunlop (tires), Electric Life (hood and trunk lifts), Air Ride Tech (air ride), Wise Guys (seat frames), Wizard Fab (steering geear), Hot Rod Air (a/c), Kenwood (navigation, backup camera, DVD, sat radio), Heddman (headers), PPG Paint, and many others.
